About the race
Pretty Muddy 5k at Town Moor, Newcastle, is a fundraising obstacle event organised by Cancer Research UK. The course is a 5 kilometre loop with obstacles that involve climbing, crawling and sliding through muddy sections. The start and finish are on grass and the route is flat with mixed surfaces including paths, road and some small grass sections. The 10k option is described as a double lap of the 5k course.
