Milton Keynes Pretty Muddy 5k
The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course at Willen Lake in Milton Keynes. The course starts and finishes on grass and is mainly on tarmacked paths with some sections on grass; the published course map may be subject to change. The start and finish area is located on the grass between the splash park and the play area, next to the ferris wheel.
Participants climb, crawl and slide around a series of obstacles. Wave start times are staggered every 15 minutes and group entries are advised to choose the same wave. Marshals are available on course and participants may skip obstacles and move to the next one if needed. Due to the nature of the course, the event is not wheelchair accessible; some spectator information and blue badge parking details are provided.
Entry categories and costs shown for this event include adults and children. Child entry applies to ages 6 to 15 and children must be registered by and accompanied on the day by a parent or guardian or an adult with parental consent. Children under 6 may attend free with a registered adult but will not be registered participants. A minimum fundraising target is set for participants.
Facilities on site include refreshments, toilets and parking. Dogs are not allowed and the site is not suitable for pushchairs. Participants receive event information, a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a Race for Life medal on completion.
