Hull Pretty Muddy 5k
Hull Pretty Muddy is a 5 km obstacle event at Costello Stadium and Costello Playing Fields in Hull on Saturday 25 July 2026. The course starts and finishes on grass and follows a mix of grass and tarmac paths. Small sections include sloping downhills and uphill gradients, and obstacles require participants to climb, crawl and slide.
The event is for people aged 13 and older. A Race for Life medal is awarded at the finish. The entry fees listed are £22.49 for adults and £12.00 for children, with a minimum fundraising target of £50.00.
The start line is located within Costello Playing Fields in front of the tennis courts; the finish is to the right of the tennis courts. General event parking is at Syrius Academy West off Anlaby Park Road South with a short flat 15 minute walk to the site via Pickering Road and Peter Pan Park. Blue Badge parking is available at Warners Gym / Pickering Road car park. Bus stops are on Anlaby Park Road, Boothferry Road and Pickering Road. Train stations are further away, with Hessle about 2.2 miles and Hull about 3 miles from the venue.
Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs.
