Brighton Pretty Muddy 5k - Stanmer Park, 27 June 2026
This event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held at Stanmer Park on Saturday 27 June 2026. The course starts and finishes on grass and runs through fields and woodland with cross-country terrain and some steep inclines. Participants will climb, crawl and slide over a series of obstacles; marshals are on hand to assist and the event uses staggered wave starts approximately every 15 minutes.
The meeting point is the field next to the playground by Lower Lodges Car Park West. The venue address is Stanmer Park, Lewes Road, Brighton, BN1 9SE. Travel options include nearby bus stops (including Route 78 and buses 25 and 28), a footpath from Falmer train station (about an 8 minute walk), and cycle parking in several car parks. Blue Badge accessible parking is available inside the park in Lower Lodges Car Park West. General event parking arrangements are being confirmed with the University of Sussex for 2026.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets and parking. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs. Dogs are not allowed and there is no bag drop or showers. Accessibility provisions include sunflower wristbands, trained Event Managers, and a QR code for British Sign Language stage content.
Participants are asked to meet in front of the stage for a warm-up and course briefing. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training resources, community support, and a Race for Life medal. The minimum fundraising target is £50. Entry fees noted are £22.49 for adults and £12.00 for children. To take part participants must be 13 years of age or older; separate Pretty Muddy Kids events exist for younger children.
