Race for Life Pretty Muddy Brighton : Stanmer Park
The event is a Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held in Stanmer Park, Lewes Road, Brighton BN1 9SE. The start and finish are on grass and the route runs through fields and woodland on cross-country terrain. The course includes muddy obstacles and some steep inclines. Waves are staggered every 15 minutes and marshals are available on course; participants may skip obstacles if needed.
Entry prices are listed for adults and children, and a minimum fundraising target applies. Registered participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training plans, access to the event community, and a Race for Life finishers medal.
The published meeting point is the field opposite the Lower Lodges EAST Car Park. Travel options include local bus services (Route 78 plus buses 25 and 28), a footpath from Falmer train station at about an eight minute walk, and cycle parking in several park car parks. Event parking arrangements are being confirmed with the University of Sussex; accessible Blue Badge parking is available inside the park in Lower Lodges Car Park West. Electric vehicle charging is available in the university multi-storey car park.
Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs; dogs are not allowed and bag drop and showers are not available.
