About the race
Birmingham Pretty Muddy 5k is an obstacle event held at Cofton Park, Low Hill Lane, Longbridge, Birmingham B31 2BQ. The course is entirely on grass; start and finish areas are on grass a short walk from the on-site car parking area. The route includes some flat sections but is hilly in parts.
The what3words location for the start is ///glove.views.exist. Participants tackle a muddy obstacle course with marshals on hand to assist and the option to skip obstacles if required. Start times are staggered in waves every 15 minutes; groups should register for the same wave. To take part in Pretty Muddy participants must be at least 13 years old.
A separate Pretty Muddy Kids offer exists for younger children. Child entry applies to ages 6 to 15 and must be completed by a parent or guardian or an adult over 18 with parental consent. Adults may bring children under 6 free of charge but those children are not registered participants. Travel and site details note event parking on grass accessed from Lowhill Lane B45 8UN and signposted on the day.
Bus service No 47 serves the venue and the nearest train station is Longbridge around 1.5 miles away. Blue badge holders will be directed to the nearest available space; ground conditions may be affected by weather. Event facilities include refreshments, toilets and parking. The site is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for pushchairs.
Dogs, showers and bag drop are not available. Fundraising is part of the event with a minimum target of £50. Entry prices listed are Adults £25.49 and Children £15.00.
