Race for Life Newbury 10k
The event takes place at Newbury Racecourse on Sunday 13 June 2027 and is organised by Cancer Research UK. Two distances are offered:
- 10k - double lap of the 5k route.
- 5k - single lap.
The start and finish are on hardstanding in front of the Dubai Duty Free Grandstand. The route is mostly on tarmac but also includes gravel paths and grass. One section of the course is about 1 km of uneven and potentially boggy grass. The full 10k course has an overall ascent of 18 m. The start and finish areas are on tarmac that is slightly sloped.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets and event parking. The event parking at Newbury Racecourse is free for participants and spectators; access is via the new bridge off Hambridge Road with signage to Car Park 4. Drop offs are possible within the event car park. Blue badge parking is available toward the front of the event parking area. There are no electric vehicle charging points and no cycle parking.
This event is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for pushchairs. Entry prices range from £5.50 to £8.74 and there is a minimum fundraising target of £50.
