Race for Life Newbury 10k
The event is a Race for Life 10k held on Sunday 14 June 2026 at Newbury Racecourse, The Racecourse, Newbury, RG14 7PN. Entry is listed at £17.49 and the minimum fundraising target is £50. Participants must be aged 16 and over.
The start and finish are on hardstanding in front of the Dubai Duty Free Grandstand. The course is a double lap of the 5k route and runs over mixed surfaces including hardstanding, gravel paths and grass. There is a 1 km section of potentially uneven and boggy grass and several other uneven surfaces along the route. The full course has an overall ascent of 18 m. Because of these surfaces the route is not suitable for wheelchair or pushchair users.
On-site facilities include refreshments, toilets and event parking. Bag drop and showers are not available and dogs are not permitted. Blue badge parking is provided near the front of the event parking area and stewards will direct vehicles to free event parking in Car Park 4. There are no electric vehicle charging points and no bike racks on site. The nearest train station is Newbury Racecourse which is within walking distance and the local bus route 9 serves the racecourse.
