The start and finish are located in front of the Dubai Duty Free Grandstand. The route uses a mixture of surfaces including hardstanding, gravel paths and grass. The 10k is completed as two laps of the 5k route. The course includes a 1 km section of uneven and potentially boggy grass and several other uneven surfaces; total ascent across the 10k is 18 m.
The event is for people aged 16 and over. Listed entry fees include £17.49 and £11.00. A minimum fundraising target of £50.00 is noted.
Facilities on site include refreshments, toilets and event parking. Blue badge parking is available near the front of the event parking area. There are no electric vehicle charging points, no cycle racks and showers are not available. Dogs are not permitted and the route is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchair users.

Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training plans and a Race for Life medal on completion.
