Race for Life Liverpool - Sefton Park 10k 2026
This event takes place at Sefton Park in Liverpool, a 235 acre public park with lakes, winding paths and open lawns. The 10k course is two 5k laps around the park on a mixture of gravel paths and grass; the route has some undulations and grass sections can become boggy in wet weather. The event is chip timed.
Venue details list the start and finish on the field to the left of the Sefton Park Obelisk. The closest pedestrian access is the Obelisk entrance from Croxteth Drive, about 200 metres away. Public transport options noted include buses 75, 80 and 80A to Harrington Road and regular trains from Liverpool Central to St Michaels. There is no designated event parking or drop off zone.
Accessibility and on-site facilities include refreshments, toilets, dogs allowed, suitability for pushchairs, and wheelchair access. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content. Event managers are trained Dementia Friends.
