The course start and finish are on grass on a slight hill in the field in front of Temple Newsam House, adjacent to the Courtyard and Animal Farm. The route is a single lap and runs on a combination of grass, surfaced paths and woodland paths. It features varying elevations, with approximately 2.5 km of uphill sections. The event is chip timed.
Entry information lists the event as for ages 16 and over. Entry fees shown are £17.49 for those aged 16 and over and £11.00 for children. A minimum fundraising target of £50.00 is given.
Travel access is via Temple Newsam Road; the route from that entrance to the event site is about 300 m on paths and grass sloping downhill. Drop off is possible near the roundabout at the end of Temple Newsam Road and Blue Badge parking is indicated in the same location as general event parking. The nearest train station is Cross Gates, approximately 1.9 miles away. Cycle stands are at the Walled Garden and Farm Car Park and lockers are in the Stable Courtyard. The closest public electric vehicle charging point is at Thorpe Park Hotel and Spa LS15 8ZB.
The route has been assessed as wheelchair accessible with assistance because of inclines and grass sections. On site facilities listed include refreshments, toilets, bag drop and showers, and sunflower wristbands and BSL stage content access are available.
