The course starts and finishes on grass beside the car park behind Houghton Hall. Terrain is mainly grass with rough and bumpy sections and a short stretch on stoney pathways. A course map is provided but may be subject to change.
The site is remote and not suitable to reach on foot; the nearest bus stop is over a half hour walk away and there is no nearby train station. Free event parking is available in the on site event car park, which is a short walk from the event area. There is no designated drop off area, no Blue Badge parking, no electric charging points, and no cycle parking.
Facilities on site include refreshments, toilets and parking. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs. Dogs are not permitted. Volunteer parking is available.
Registered participants receive event information by email and, when they take part, a Race for Life medal.
