Race for Life Inverness 10k
Race for Life Inverness takes place on Sunday 31 May 2026 at Bught Park in Inverness. The event is organised by Cancer Research UK and is open to people aged 16 and over. A minimum fundraising target of £50 applies.

The 10k is a double lap of the 5k course. The route runs on roads alongside the River Ness and crosses Ness Bridge and Ness Islands. Some sections are on grass and woodland paths. The event is chip timed.
The start line is located on the Bught Park playing fields. There is no dedicated event parking; public car parks in the city centre are a short walk away. The closest bus stop is on Glenurquart Road and Inverness train station is about a 20 minute walk. Bike racks are available in front of the Inverness Leisure Centre. Blue badge parking is available at the Bught Drive and Torvean Avenue junction.
On-site facilities listed as available include refreshments, toilets, allowance for dogs, suitability for pushchairs and wheelchair access in dry weather. Bag drop, showers and event parking are not available. In wet weather large sections of the course may become inaccessible to wheelchair users and assistance is recommended.
Registered participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support resources and a Race for Life medal on finishing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
