The 10k course is a double-lapped route with the start and finish on grass. The course surface is a mix of grass and tarmac path and includes short sections of varying elevation, including downhill and uphill gradients. The meeting point is within Costello Playing Fields in front of the tennis courts and the finish is to the right of the tennis courts.
Travel notes include general event parking at Syrius Academy West with a short, flat 15 minute walk predominately on tarmac path to the site, and blue badge parking at Warners Gym/Pickering Road car park. The nearest bus stops are on Anlaby Park Road, Boothferry Road and Pickering Road. Train stations are approximately 2.2 miles and 3 miles away.
Facilities available include refreshments, toilets, bag drop, showers, dogs allowed, suitability for pushchairs and wheelchair accessibility with assistance. Sunflower wristbands and British Sign Language stage content via QR code are provided, and Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends.
