The 10k is a double lapped course with the start and finish on grass. The route is a combination of grass and tarmac path and includes small sections of varying elevation with sloping downhills and uphill gradients. Events are chip timed.
Meeting and access information locates the start and finish within Costello Playing Fields near the tennis courts. General event parking is provided at Syrius Academy West with a short, flat 15 minute walk on predominately tarmac path to the site. Blue badge parking is available at Warners Gym and Pickering Road car park. Pedestrian access is via Anlaby Park Road. Bus stops nearby are on Anlaby Park Road, Boothferry Road and Pickering Road. Hessle Train Station is about 2.2 miles away and Hull Station about 3 miles away. There are no electric vehicle charging points and no cycle racks at the event.
The event lists facilities including refreshments, toilets, bag drop and showers. The route is assessed as wheelchair accessible with assistance and sunflower wristbands, dementia trained staff and a BSL stage QR code are provided. Entry prices shown are £17.49 and £11.00 for children and a minimum fundraising target of £50.00 is indicated.
