Hull 10k at Costello Stadium
Hull 10k is a Race for Life event held at Costello Stadium and Costello Playing Fields, Anlaby Park Road North, Hull. The event offers three distances:
- 10k
- 5k
- 3k
The course start and finish are on grass and the route combines grass and tarmac paths. The 10k is a double-lapped course that includes short sections of uphill and sloping downhill gradients. The stated meeting point is within Costello Playing Fields, in front of the tennis courts, with the finish also to the right of the tennis courts.
Travel notes on the event page include general event parking at Syrius Academy West with a short flat walk to the site, Blue Badge parking at Warners Gym/Pickering Road, nearest bus stops on Anlaby Park Road, Boothferry Road and Pickering Road, and train distances to Hessle and Hull stations. There are no electric vehicle charging points and no cycle racks listed.
Facilities on site include refreshments, toilets, bag drop and showers. The route has been assessed as wheelchair accessible with assistance. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends, and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content. Participants receive a Race for Life medal on completion.
