Race for Life Falmouth takes place at Gyllyngvase Beach Car Park in Falmouth (Spernen Wyn Road, TR11 4PA). The event offers chip-timed running on tarmac roads through Falmouth town centre, including a climb up Cliff Road, a loop around the Castle, and a return down Cliff Road. The 10k is a double lap of the 5k course. Over 50% of the route is on an incline, with a reported maximum ascent of 148 m.

Facilities listed for the event include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are not allowed. There are no showers, no bag drop, no cycling racks, and no electric vehicle charging points. Blue badge parking is available on Queen Mary Road approximately 90 m from the site; some local roads will be closed for the event. General event parking is provided at Swanpool Beach Car Park, about 0.8 miles away, which is around a 17 minute walk from the venue. The nearest train station is Falmouth Town Station, around a 10 minute walk to the event area.
The organiser sets a minimum fundraising target of £50. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support materials, community access, and a Race for Life medal on completion.
