The venue is Gyllyngvase Beach Car Park, Spernen Wyn Road, Falmouth TR11 4PA. The start and finish are within the car park area.
The route runs on tarmac roads through Falmouth town centre, heads up Cliff Road, loops around the Castle and returns down Cliff Road. Over 50% of the route is on an incline and the course has a maximum ascent of 148 m. The 10k is a double lap of the 5k. The event is chip timed.
Travel notes: event car parking is available at Swanpool Beach, about 0.8 miles away, around a 17 minute walk. Drop offs can be made on Queen Mary Road or at Swanpool Car Park. Blue badge parking is available on Queen Mary Road, approximately 90 m from the site. The nearest train station is Falmouth Town, about a 10 minute walk. There are no bike racks and no electric vehicle charging at the site.
Facilities and accessibility: refreshments and toilets are listed as available. Dogs are not allowed. Bag drop and showers are not available and pushchairs are stated as not suitable. Organisers state the event is wheelchair accessible with assistance and the start and finish areas are on flat hardstanding.
