Exeter 5k
The Exeter 5k is a Race for Life 5k at Westpoint, Clyst St. Mary, Exeter (EX5 1DJ). The course starts and finishes on a tarmac path on the showground and follows paths and fields around the showground on a mix of road, tarmac pathways and grass.
The route includes tarmac, hardstanding and grass sections. The start and finish areas are on grass that is slightly sloped and uneven underfoot; in wet weather the ground and grass sections may become soft, muddy or slippery which could increase the level of assistance required.
The event is wheelchair accessible with assistance. Blue Badge parking is available approximately 160 m from the event site on hardstanding. General car parking and a drop off point are available within Westpoint. There are no electric vehicle charging points and no cycle parking or bike racks. Pedestrian access to Westpoint from the A3052 is through the Orange Gate. The nearest train station is Exeter St David’s, about 6 miles from the venue.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments, toilets, wheelchair access and parking. Dogs are not allowed. Bag drop and showers are not available and the event is not suitable for pushchairs.
Entry prices shown range from £5.50 to £7.99 and the minimum fundraising target is £50. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training plans and support, access to an online community and a Race for Life medal on completion.
