Race for Life Carlisle
The event takes place at Bitts Park, Dacre Road, Carlisle (CA3 8UZ) on 5 July 2026. Distances offered include:

The start and finish are on grass on the main playing fields of Bitts Park. The course is predominantly flat, mostly on smooth paths and grass, with a short section of woodland trails. The 10k is chip-timed.
Entry rules specify participants must be aged 16 and over. Ticket prices shown include adult and child bands with a minimum fundraising target of £50. Parking is available at Devonshire Walk Car Park across the road, which is pay and display; Blue Badge parking is available there. Carlisle Train Station is about a 15 minute walk from the start and several bus services stop within a short walk. Bike racks are available at the nearby Sheepmount Athletics Stadium.
Facilities at the site include refreshments and toilets; dogs are allowed and the venue is suitable for pushchairs. In dry weather the route is accessible to wheelchair users though assistance is recommended; in wet weather parts of the course may be inaccessible. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends, and a QR code on site provides British Sign Language stage content.
