About the race
Race for Life Blackpool is a set of community running events held on Blackpool Promenade at Tower Festival Headland. The start and finish are located beside Blackpool Tower and the Comedy Carpet. The route uses the lower and middle promenades, passes North Pier and the go‑kart track, and combines tarmac and hard standing paths.

The 10k follows a double lap of the 5k route. Events are chip-timed. The site around the start and finish is flat and firm underfoot, while sections of the promenade include lively undulations and two-way areas that can cause congestion. In poor weather, promenade paths may become slippery.
Entry and participant details include an adult price of £20.49 and a child ticket price of £14.00. Child entry is for ages 6 to 15 and must be registered by a parent, guardian, or an adult with parental consent. Adults who bring children under age 6 may do so free of charge, but those children are not registered participants. There is a minimum fundraising target of £50.00.
Facilities listed as available include refreshments, toilets, dogs allowed, suitability for pushchairs, and wheelchair accessibility with assistance. There is no designated event parking or bag drop.
