Race for Life Bedford at Priory Park
Race for Life Bedford is a fundraising running event held at Priory Park in Bedford on Saturday 25 July 2026. The start and finish are on grass. The 10k route is a double lap of the 5k course and the paths run on a mixture of grass and tarmac within Priory Country Park. The course can become boggy in poor weather. The start and finish area is located on the grass field to the right of Cloverdale Café next to the lake.
There are two event car parks outside the park with walking distances to the site of about 12 minutes and 20 minutes. One car park has a £4.00 charge and requires prebooking; the other is free. There is a cycle rack outside Cloverdale Café and various pedestrian access points from nearby roads.
On site facilities include refreshments, toilets and parking. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs. Sunflower wristbands and British Sign Language stage content via QR code are available. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a Race for Life medal.
