Bedford 3k : Race for Life
The event is a 3k Race for Life taking place at Priory Park, Barkers Lane, Bedford, MK41 9DJ. The course uses a mixture of grass and tarmac paths within Priory Country Park; the start and finish are on a grass field. The meeting point is the grass field to the right of Cloverdale Café, next to the lake.
Entry information shown for the event includes an age restriction of 16 and over, an entry fee of £14.99, and a minimum fundraising target of £50.00.
Travel and parking arrangements are provided. Two event car parks are listed with walking times: Bedford Athletics Stadium (about a 12 minute walk, £4 per car, prebooked) and Longholme Way Field (about a 20 minute walk, free). Blue Badge and volunteer parking are available in the main Priory Country Park car park. The closest bus stop is on Malmsbury Way served by the No. 10 route; Bedford Railway Station is about 3 miles away. A cycle rack is located outside Cloverdale Café. There are no electric vehicle charging points on site.
Facilities noted as available include refreshments, toilets and parking. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content.
