Event overview
The Reach Inc. Race for Independence is an annual running event held in Bozeman, Montana at 322 Gallatin Park Drive. The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes multiple distances:

Entry fees listed for the in-person events are $30 for the 10K and 5K, and $20 for the 1K. Short-sleeved t-shirts are available for purchase for $15. Medals are awarded at the live race to top finishers in each event and age bracket. Bottled water and pre-packaged snacks will be provided.
Course and logistics
The in-person course starts at the Reach Work Center and uses north Bozeman trails, including sections near the Cherry River Trail and Glen Lake Rotary Park/East Gallatin Recreation Area. The trail is described as hard packed with a few gentle hills and a total elevation change of about 40 feet. Virtual participants may complete a 1K, 5K, or 10K route of their choosing and share results with the organizer. Packet pick-up is available on the day before and the day of the event at the Reach Work Center. Pets are not allowed. A raffle is part of the event; race registrants receive one free raffle ticket and tickets are also available for purchase for $1. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
