Run to the Pub : Half Marathon and 10K in downtown Bozeman
Run to the Pub is a St. Patrick's Day running event held in downtown Bozeman, Montana. The event offers two race distances:
- Half marathon
- 10K
Race entries include a signature pint glass, a pint of beer provided with Bozeman Brewing, a polyester semi-fitted long sleeve race shirt, a finisher's medal that doubles as a bottle opener, and a gear check bag. Top finishers receive awards: prizes for the top three overall and age-group awards for the following groups: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-79.
The finish area opens onto a Main Street after party tied to St. Patrick's Day activities. A live DJ provides music at the start and finish line. There are costume prizes for best dressed, with awards presented by Yellowstone Bank.
The event also features a contest element that can send a few participants to Dublin, Ireland to take part in a local race and receive a VIP tour of the Guinness brewery. Organizers list local sponsors and community partners and note support for area non-profit organizations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
