The 5K run is professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown. Awards are given to the top male and female runners overall. Awards are also presented to the top three male and female runners in multiple age categories: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & Up.

Organizing Bodies

The event is presented by a race board with members from several organizations. These include The Society (supporting individuals with disabilities), Medina County Special Olympics Ohio, Integrated Community Solutions (a nonprofit for individuals with developmental disabilities), and the Knights of Columbus Council #4168.
