Selfless Elf 5k : Akron, OH
The Selfless Elf 5k takes place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank's Main Campus, 350 Opportunity Parkway, Akron, OH 44307. This is the 13th annual event and it benefits the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. The event includes two race categories and is part of the Ohio Challenge Series.

Registration price for each event is $40, with a price increase after December 19, 2025. The race will be chip-timed at the start and finish lines. Runners and competitive walkers are registered in separate categories and will have different bib colors to distinguish categories. Team registration is new this year, with a team award for the fastest four-person or larger team.
All participants receive a long-sleeve race t-shirt and striped elf socks. The event is dog-free. Awards are given for top 3 male and female overall and top 3 male and female per age group for both events; additional awards include Most Dashing (best dressed), Top VIP Elf (top fundraiser), and Fastest 4-Person Team. Early packet pickup is available on Friday, December 19, 2025, and race day packet pickup is available the morning of the event.
