Event
The Christmas in the Valley takes place on December 14, 2025, in Valley City, Ohio. The event is organized by the Valley City Community Group and is located at 6700 Center Road, Valley City, OH 44280. It includes the following events:
- 5k
- Fun Walk
Every registrant receives a race hoodie and a finisher medal. The 5k and Family Fun Walk are stroller and dog friendly. Registrations made after December 1, 2025, are not guaranteed a shirt on race day; sizes unavailable race day may be ordered afterward.
Course and extras
The 5k route starts on Route 303, leads through Mill Stream Park and the Barn Run development, includes the Barn Run hill, and finishes back at the fire station in downtown Valley City. The Family Fun Walk follows a route through Mill Stream Park and also starts and finishes in downtown Valley City. The day includes awards, a holiday market with more than 70 vendors, a chili cook-off that participants can vote in, and activities for children.
