About the race
Christmas in the Valley is an annual family event organized by the Valley City Community Group in Valley City, Ohio. The day combines a community holiday market, a race and a family walk, a chili cook off with attendee voting, and activities for children.
Race offerings:
- 5K run
- 1 mile Family Fun Walk
Every registrant receives a race hoodie and a medal. The 5K run and the Family Fun Walk are stroller and dog friendly. The holiday market includes more than 70 vendors. Attendees may vote to help select the chili cook off winner.
Registration information is set for August 22, 2026 through August 31, 2026, with a registration fee of $30.00. Registrations after December 1, 2026 are not guaranteed a shirt on race day; if a requested size is unavailable, an order may be placed after race day.
