The Christmas in the Valley event takes place on December 14, 2025, in Valley City, Ohio, at 6700 Center Road (Valley City, OH 44280). The event includes the following distances:

5K
Fun Walk

Entry prices listed are $47 for the 5K and $45 for the Fun Walk. Prices increase after December 11, 2025. Registrations after December 1, 2025 are not guaranteed a race shirt on race day; sizes not available on race day may be ordered later. Every registrant receives a race hoodie and a finisher medal.

Course and on-site features

Both the 5K and the Family Fun Walk start and finish in downtown Valley City and pass through Mill Stream Park and the Barn Run development. The 5K course follows Rt 303, goes through Mill Stream Park and Barn Run, includes the Barn Run hill, and returns to the fire station. The Family Fun Walk is described as a stroll through Mill Stream Park. The 5K and Fun Walk are stroller and dog friendly. On-site activities include a holiday market with over 70 vendors, a chili cook-off with public voting, awards for winners, and children’s activities.
