Race for Every Child 5K Run/Walk
Race for Every Child is a community fundraising event organized by Children’s National Hospital Foundation. The event is scheduled for October 17, 2026 and offers both an in-person option at Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C. and a virtual participation option.

In-person registration is free through October 11. Registrations submitted October 12 through October 16 carry a fee for in-person participation; virtual registration is free regardless of date. No day-of registration is available. Participants who raise funds qualify for recognition items at set thresholds; for example, a T-shirt is available at $50 raised and a baseball hat at $100, with additional items such as a water bottle, tote bag and quarter zip at higher fundraising levels.
The event page reports current totals for participants and teams. Sponsors provide financial and in-kind support and are acknowledged for their contributions.
