Race For Catherine
Race For Catherine is the sixth annual fundraiser held in Newtown, CT. The in-person portion is scheduled for October 11, with virtual participation available from October 9 through October 11. The event takes place at Keating Farms Ave.
The program includes certified and timed 5K options, youth 5K options, and a short Kids Kindness Dash for young children aged 3 to 9. The in-person event features adoptable animals and rescued animal ambassadors at the finish, plus a post race breakfast for participants. Virtual participants can complete their distance remotely during the October 9–11 window and may form teams or exercise with a personal pet. The RaceJoy app is available for remote tracking and shared participation.
