Race for Catherine is the sixth annual fundraiser held October 9–11, 2026 in Newtown, Connecticut. The event centers on a family-oriented certified and timed 5K plus a new Kids Kindness Dash for children aged 3 to 9. Virtual participation is available during the October 9–11 window.

The event takes place at Keating Farms Ave, Newtown, CT 06470, USA. Adoptable animals and rescued animal ambassadors are present at the finish area. Virtual participants may form teams, exercise with a four-legged companion and use the RaceJoy app to allow family and friends to follow or join from a distance.
