Event Information
The 29th Annual Race Against Domestic Violence 5K will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, in Newark, Delaware. The race start and finish are at Autumn Arch Beer Project, located at 810 Pencader Dr Suite C.
Beneficiary
The event benefits CHILD, Inc., an organization that has served the Delaware community since 1963. Its mission is to advocate for children through prevention, intervention, and treatment programs aimed at addressing domestic violence and child maltreatment.
Race Details
The event is a single-distance 5K run. Registration and bib pickup occur on race day from 8:00 AM until 8:55 AM at Autumn Arch. A course map is available for directional purposes.
Participant Amenities
Registered participants receive an event T-shirt, post-race snacks, and one post-race beer per bib.
Awards
Awards are given for overall male and female finishers, overall masters male and female finishers (based on gun time), and the top three finishers in each age group (based on chip time). Age groups are: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
