Event
Raby Castle Trail Runs take place on 20 September 2026 at Raby Castle, Staindrop, Darlington (DL2 3AH). The event offers three distance options:
- 5km (age 11+)
- 10km (age 15+)
- Half Marathon (age 15+)
Routes will be confirmed ahead of the event. Described course surfaces include firm paths, woodland trails, grass sections and gentle undulations. The estate includes ornamental lakes, parkland and areas where red and fallow deer can be seen.
Practical information
Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive a medal, Wild Deer merchandise and a drink and snack. A bespoke event T-shirt option is available. Free on-site parking is provided for participants. Entries are listed with fees from approximately £24 to £30 depending on distance and options. One controlled dog per runner is permitted for cani-cross entries. Registration opens and closes on specified dates and place availability is shown by the organiser.
