Raby Castle Trail Runs 2026
Raby Castle Trail Runs takes place within Raby Castle parkland in Staindrop, Darlington DL2 3AH. The event offers new route options for 2026 across the estate, which includes approximately 200 acres with ornamental lakes, woodland trails and parkland where red and fallow deer may be seen.
Distances include:
- 5km (11+)
- 10km (15+)
- Half Marathon (15+)
Route details will be confirmed closer to the event. Planned surfaces include a mix of firm paths, woodland trails, grass sections and gentle undulations. The event is cani-cross friendly and allows one controlled dog per runner.
Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive a medal, Wild Deer merchandise, a drink and a snack. There is an option to add a bespoke event T shirt to an entry for £12. Free on site parking is available for participants.
