Raby Castle Trail Runs

Raby Castle Trail Runs 2025 offers scenic trail running events set within the historic grounds of Raby Castle in Staindrop, Darlington. Participants can choose from 5, 10, or 15-mile distances, with the longer routes consisting of multiple laps of a 5-mile course. The trail features mixed terrain including rough trails, firm and grass paths, and woodland, with moderate undulations suitable for all abilities.

Runners may enjoy views of the castle, ornamental lakes, and herds of red and fallow deer roaming the 200-acre parkland. The event is Canicross friendly, allowing one controlled dog per runner.
