The Raby Castle Trail Runs take place on 20 September 2026 at Raby Castle, Staindrop, Darlington, DL2 3AH. Distances offered are:
- 5km (age 11+)
- 10km (age 13+)
- Half Marathon (age 15+)
Registration opens 26 September 2025 and closes 17 September 2026. Standard entry prices listed are £24 for the 5km, £27 for the 10km, and £30 for the half marathon, each plus a fee. A bespoke event T‑shirt is available to add for £12.
Course, facilities and services
Routes will be confirmed before the event and are described as a mix of firm paths, woodland trails, grass sections and gentle undulations. The venue includes ornamental lakes, parkland and the possibility of encountering red and fallow deer. One controlled dog per runner is allowed.
Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive a medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a drink and snack. Free on-site parking is available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
