Raby Castle Trail Runs 2026
Raby Castle Trail Runs takes place at Raby Castle, Staindrop, Darlington, DL2 3AH. The event offers three distances and new routes for 2026 set within the castle park and gardens, an estate of around 200 acres with ornamental lakes, woodland trails and parkland where herds of red and fallow deer can be seen. The routes will be confirmed soon. They are described as a mix of firm paths, woodland trails, grass sections and gentle undulations. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. One controlled dog per runner is allowed for cani-cross entries. Free parking is available on site.
All finishers receive a medal, Wild Deer merchandise, a drink and a snack. There is an option to add a bespoke event T-Shirt to an entry for £12. Age minimums for the distances are listed as follows:
- 5km (11+)
- 10km (15+)
- Half Marathon (15+)
