About the race
The Du Quoin Holiday Hustle 5K Run/Walk takes place on November 24, 2026 at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds in Du Quoin, Illinois. The event is an evening run and walk held under the Holiday Lights on the fairgrounds.
Event distances include:
- 5 km Competitive run
- 5 km Competitive walk
- 1.5 miles Fun run/walk with multiple route options to accommodate varying ability and endurance
Registration opens August 12, 2026 and closes November 3, 2026. The standard registration fee is $30. Registering by November 1 guarantees a t-shirt. Children aged 4 and under enter free; no t-shirt is included for those children. Children aged 5 to 12 pay half price for the fun run only and receive a t-shirt.
All proceeds benefit This Able Veteran and Operation 17:2. Awards will be presented to the top three overall finishers and to age group winners in both the competitive 5 km run and the competitive 5 km walk.
