Snowman Shuffle
Logan Fitness and the Orthopaedic Institute of Southern Illinois present the Snowman Shuffle on January 2, 2027, at John A. Logan College in Carterville, Illinois. The event is held at the college campus located at 700 Logan College Drive.
The event program for 2027 includes a 5K race. Registration opens September 10, 2026 and closes January 2, 2027. Fees for the 5K are $30 for adults, free for children 10 years and under, and $70 for a family entry (limit four people). Mail registrations are accepted at John A. Logan College, 700 Logan College Drive, Carterville, IL 62918, Attn: Logan Fitness. Online and in-person registration options are offered.
Awards include plaques for the overall male and female winners and heavy medals for the top three finishers in each age group. Age groups are 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 plus.
Registrations received by December 12, 2026 are guaranteed a t-shirt. Payments by check should be made payable to JALC. The event may be canceled if conditions are deemed unsafe due to weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
