The Quivering Quads Fall Classic

The Quivering Quads Fall Classic is the 27th running of the Quivering Quads Trail Race, scheduled for October 25, 2026 at Frenchman's Bluff Trail in Cuivre River State Park, Troy, Missouri.

Race options include:

• Half marathon trail race
• 8 mile trail race

Runners start in seeded waves of about 30 to 35 participants. The course features bluff views, a mix of wide fire roads and narrow single-track trails, rolling hills, several steep climbs, and multiple creek crossings through the bottomland forest of Big Sugar Creek. Typical Midwest trail footing applies, including rocks, roots, and mud, and the route offers opportunities to see local wildlife.

Participants will receive a long sleeve shirt and a custom finisher medal. Post race provisions include flapjacks, snacks, beer from Urban Chestnut, and other refreshments. Registration is limited to 400 participants.

Packet pickup is available on Saturday, October 24 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Fleet Feet St. Charles, and on race morning at the race site. On-course aid stations will be present but stocked with minimal supplies, so participants are advised to carry needed hydration and nutrition. Course marshals and traffic control will be on the route and athletic trainers will be available at the finish area.

Dogs are not permitted at the event. Awards will be given to the top two male and female overall finishers and the top two male and female finishers in each age group: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.

Volunteers assist with parking, course marshaling, aid stations, and post-race distribution; volunteers receive race swag or a $10 Fleet Feet gift card. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
