The Quivering Quads Fall Classic
The Quivering Quads Fall Classic is the 27th running of the Quivering Quads Trail Race, scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 2026 at Cuivre River State Park (Frenchman’s Bluff Trail) in Troy, Missouri. The event offers two trail distances and is limited to 400 participants.
The course passes through bluff and bottomland forest with Ozark-like views and includes a mix of wide fire roads, narrow single-track trails, rolling hills, and several creek crossings. Runners should expect rocks, roots, mud, climbs and descents, and potential wildlife sightings. Starts are organized in waves of 30 to 35 participants seeded by predicted pace. On-course aid stations will carry minimal supplies; participants are advised to carry their own hydration and nutrition. Course marshals and traffic control will be present and athletic trainers will be available at the finish area. Dogs are not permitted.
Participants receive a long sleeve shirt, a custom finisher medal, post-race flapjacks, snacks, beer from Urban Chestnut, and other refreshments. Awards are given to the top two male and female overall finishers and the top two male and female in each distance for these age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Packet pickup is available the day before at Fleet Feet St. Charles and on race morning at the race site. Volunteers receive race swag or a $10 Fleet Feet gift card.
