Dark 2 Dawn Night Trail Races : Indian Camp Creek Park
Dark 2 Dawn Night Trail Races take place at Indian Camp Creek Park in Foristell, Missouri. The event features multiple race options run on an approximately 6.7 mile loop that combines open-field crossings and wooded singletrack. The surface is mostly dirt with some rock and the terrain ranges from flat to rolling hills.
Race distance options include:
- 10K (one loop)
- 6 hours timed ultra (complete as many loops as possible)
- 9 hours timed ultra (complete as many loops as possible)
The course loop is approximate and may measure slightly over 10K per loop. Aid is available at a single start/finish station stocked with water, electrolyte drinks, gels, snacks, first aid supplies and staffed restrooms. Participants are required to carry a handheld or use a hydration vest. Overnight camping at the park is included with registration.
Registration notes and deadlines are published for online and race day entries. Online registrations include a technical running shirt customized by Headsweats or an opt out to plant a tree, plus a custom finisher medal. Medals and awards are issued based on loops completed; 6 hour equals 20.1 miles (3 loops) and 9 hour equals 26.8 miles (4 loops). The event follows a cup free and zero waste approach and has a stated sustainability pledge. The race is partnered with the Trail Mix Fund to support access to registration fees.
