The Dark 2 Dawn Night Trail Races are all-night trail running events at Indian Camp Creek Park in Foristell, Missouri. The event offers a 10K distance, a 6-hour timed ultra, and a 9-hour timed ultra.
Course Details
The races take place on a scenic, approximately 6.7-mile loop course at Indian Camp Creek Park. The route features a mix of open-field crossings and wooded singletrack trails, consisting mainly of dirt with some rock. The terrain is described as flat to rolling hills. The 10K race is a single loop, while the 6-hour and 9-hour timed events challenge participants to complete as many loops as possible within the allotted time.
Registration and Amenities
Registration includes a technical running t-shirt (if registered by the swag order deadline), a custom finisher medal, free digital race photos, and post-race snacks and beverages. Onsite camping is available at the park. The event is cup-free; participants must bring their own hydration system (handheld bottle or vest) and their own cup or collapsible cup for aid station drinks. Paper cups are not provided.
Awards
Awards are given to the top male, female, and non-binary performers in each distance (10K, 6-hour, 9-hour), based on the number of loops completed and the time taken. All finishers receive a custom medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
