Queeny Backyard Ultra (March 6, 2026)
Queeny Backyard Ultra is a Last Person Standing trail race held at Queeny Park in St. Louis, Missouri. The event uses a repeating loop format where runners complete the same circuit each hour until only one runner finishes their last lap.
The course runs clockwise and uses a combination of Hawk Ridge Trail, Fox Run Trail, White Oak Trail, and Owl Creek Trails. The loop distance is approximately 4.19 miles with about 430 feet of ascent and 430 feet of descent. Trail surfaces include wide paved sections, short dirt trail, and hardpacked stone or gravel, with rolling hills and scenic sections.
Awards recognize overall finishers in Non-Binary, Female, and Male divisions. Other participants are recorded as Did Not Finish and may receive a challenge coin based on loops completed:
- 12 to 18 loops (about 50 to 75 miles), Bronze Challenge Coin
- 19 to 23 loops (about 79 to 96 miles), Silver Challenge Coin
- 24 or more loops (100+ miles), Gold Challenge Coin
Registration perks listed for the event include custom race swag, all weekend camping, free photo downloads, and a post-race beer. The winner of the event receives a Silver Ticket and a berth at the World Team Competition at Big's. The race is affiliated with the Backyard Ultra Series.
