Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 5k & 10k - September 2027
The event takes place on Saturday 18 September 2027 at Olympic North Park in London and supports Special Olympics Great Britain. There are chip-timed 5 km and 10 km races held on a tarmac course that is described as flat with 3 m elevation.
Course details and race format:
- 5 km : 2 laps, tarmac, elevation 3 m
- 10 km : 4 laps, tarmac, elevation 3 m
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, post-race goodies and a bag drop. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned around the course; participants should be aware that the Olympic Park will remain open to the public during the event. Water is provided on every lap and again at the finish. An event village offers food and drink options and partner giveaways.
Practical information includes on-site toilets at the Event Village, a bag drop located inside the Timber Lodge Cage Room B and race pack collection on race day. The park is accessible by foot and cycle, with cycle parking available, and nearby stations include Stratford, Stratford International, Hackney Wick, Pudding Mill and Leyton.
