Queen City Trick or Trot 10K/5K Run/Walk and Kids Monster Mile
The event in Marquette, Michigan features three timed races along a course that uses city streets and the lakeshore bike path. Distances offered:
- 10K (6.2 Miles)
- 5K (3.1 Miles)
- Kids Monster Mile (1 Mile)
The 10K also serves as the UP 10K Championship and adds 10 bonus points for racers who have signed up for the 2026 Run The UP Challenge Race Series. The 5K and 10K participants receive a medal, custom socks, and a free scoop of gelato from Provisions MQT. Kids Monster Mile finishers receive a Monster Mile medal.
The course begins on the 100 block of Washington Street, proceeds down Washington Street, crosses Front Street, passes Iron Bay Restaurant & Drinkery, turns onto Lakeshore Boulevard, and moves onto the bike path before Main Street. Runners head south on the bike path toward Harvey. The 5K turnaround is before the Carp River Bridge and will be signed. The 10K turnaround is on the bike path before the Michigan Welcome Center and will be marked by an aid station. Both races finish on the bike path between Spring Street and Baraga Avenue.
Packet pick up is at Queen City Running Company on Thursday 10/29 (2:00pm-8:00pm), Friday 10/30 (9:00am-8:00pm), and Saturday 10/31 (9:00am-11:30am). There will be no post race party; overall winners collect prizes near the timing booth. Proceeds benefit JJPacks and the Negaunee High School Athletics Booster Club.
Age group awards are offered for the Kids Monster Mile and for male and female divisions in the 5K and 10K across the listed brackets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
