Qualicum Beach Triathlon 2026
The 2026 QF Qualicum Beach Triathlon takes place on June 28, 2026 in Qualicum Beach, BC, Canada, at Jones Rd. This edition marks the 27th year and includes multiple race formats for different age groups and relay teams.
Event offerings consist of triathlon, duathlon and aquathon races, plus youth divisions and very short courses for younger children. Registration listings show limited spots for several categories and fees displayed per event. Race packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the event and awards presentations occur on race day. Races are run in heats by age category.

Distances vary by category from short pool-width swims and short parking-lot bike loops for young children to longer swim-bike-run sequences for juniors and adults. - Adults 18+ : 400 m swim, 20.5 km bike, 5 km run
- Duathlon 15+ : 5 km run, 20.5 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Aquathon 15+ : 400 m swim, 5 km run
- Junior 16-17 : 250 m swim, 12.3 km bike, 5 km run
- Youth 14-15 : 200 m swim, 8.2 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Minor 12-13 : 150 m swim, 4.1 km bike, 1.5 km run
- Novice 10-11 : 100 m swim, 4.1 km bike, 1.5 km run
- Rookie 8-9 : 50 m swim, ~1 km bike, ~800 m run
- Tiny-Tri 5-7 : pool-width swim, 125 m bike, 250 m run
