QCX Midway 5K Run
The QCX Midway 5K Run is a 5K run or walk held as part of the Queen City Ex at REAL District. The route winds through the fairgrounds, Mosaic Stadium, the surrounding neighbourhood and Confederation Park, providing a course that passes through event grounds before the fair opens.
Participants receive a commemorative race medal at the finish, a Free Pancake Breakfast presented by SaskMilk and free admission to QCX for the day. Registration is $20 plus taxes and fees. Race kits are available for pick-up in advance at the Running Room (2118 Albert St., Regina) or at the registration table on event day.
The course includes varied surfaces: stadium ramps with gradual inclines, parking areas, sidewalks and fairground terrain. Temporary infrastructure may be present, such as power cables, water lines, utility covers and other event-related equipment. A water station will be located approximately halfway through the route, with additional water available after the race during the pancake breakfast. No bag check will be provided.
