Puyallup Valley Half Marathon and 10K
The Puyallup Valley Half Marathon and 10K is a community running event located in Puyallup, Washington. The course highlights the local history and natural scenery of the valley, featuring a route that follows the river. Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 13.6 Miles (Half Marathon)
- 10K
The start and finish lines are situated on the Puyallup Riverwalk Trail. Both courses are designed to be fast and relatively flat. The 10K route heads toward Sumner along the river. The 13.6 Miles course continues further, passing through Van Lierop Park and onto the Foothills Trail. The terrain consists of a combination of paved trails, sidewalks, and several street crossings.
The event is limited to a total of 200 registrants. All participants receive chipped timing and a finisher medal, with post-race snacks provided after the event. The first 60 people to register are also provided with a short-sleeve event shirt. Awards are given to the top two male and female finishers in each distance category. A time limit of 4 hours is in place for the half marathon distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
