Pure Water Days Races - Chippewa Falls YMCA
The Pure Water Days Races take place during the annual Pure Water Days festival in Chippewa Falls. The 2026 edition is scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the Chippewa Falls YMCA, 611 Jefferson Ave, Chippewa Falls, WI.
The event offers multiple race options:
- Half marathon
- 2-person half marathon relay
- 4-mile walk/run
- 2-mile untimed
- 1-mile walk/run
- Kids 200 meter dash
All finishers receive a finisher medal. Overall and age group awards are given for the 1 mile, 4 mile, and half marathon events, and top relay teams receive awards. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by July 15, 2026. A fundraising option called Mission Milers lets participants choose donation levels and receive recognition and an additional thank-you gift for fundraising beyond registration.
Course support includes aid stations: the 4-mile race has two stations with bottled water and the half marathon and relay have seven water stations along the course. Bathrooms are available at the Chippewa Falls YMCA, with additional facilities at McDonell High School for half marathon participants. The half marathon relay exchange point is at McDonell High School and provides bathrooms, water, and post-race snacks; relay teams are responsible for their own transportation to and from the exchange point.
Proceeds support the YMCA Annual Campaign, which provides sponsored memberships and program scholarships. Volunteers and race sponsors are invited to participate. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
