Pure Water Days Races at Chippewa Falls YMCA
The Pure Water Days Races are held each August at the Chippewa Falls YMCA as part of the Pure Water Days Festival. The event offers six race options and awards a finisher medal to every participant.
Race offerings include:
- Half Marathon
- 2 Person Half Marathon Relay
- 4 Mile Walk/Run
- 2 Mile Untimed
- 1 Mile Walk/Run
- Kids 200 Meter Dash
The half marathon and relay start and finish at the YMCA and travel through local roads and Irvine Park. The relay divides the half marathon into legs of 7.7 miles and 5.4 miles with an exchange point at McDonell High School. Bathrooms are available at the YMCA and additional facilities at McDonell High School for half marathon runners. Aid stations are provided on course: the 4-mile has two stations with bottled water and the half marathon has seven water stations.
T-shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by July 15, 2026. Mission Milers may choose to fundraise at set donation levels to support the YMCA Annual Campaign and receive recognition and an additional thank-you gift. In case of race cancellation, refunds are not issued and a virtual race option will be offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
