ho h-EAU ho 5K and Kids' Run
The ho h-EAU ho event on December 12, 2026 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin features a community 5K and a holiday-themed kids' dash. The start and finish are located outside the Chippewa Valley Museum at Carson Park, with parking available at the Carson Park lot and a trolley that loops to the start area.
Event registration includes a finisher medal and a choice of a holiday mug or a Grinch dumpling. A virtual participation option is available; virtual participants receive the same finisher swag. If space allows, race day registration may be offered. The event is part of the ECM 5K Race Series, where participation in all four series events qualifies for an additional series award.
Practical details:
- 5K
- Kids' quarter-mile dash for ages 2–8
Strollers are allowed on course. If a child in a stroller should receive race swag or a medal, that child must be registered individually; registered children may ride in a stroller during the 5K but should take their medal only after the kids' dash. Dogs are not permitted for this 5K. Packet pickup information, course maps, and a Santa's Village map are provided as race resources. The event includes seasonal costumes and holiday-themed elements and aims to provide a family-oriented, festive race experience. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
