xox-EAU 5K in Altoona, Wisconsin
The xox-EAU 5K is a Valentine’s Day themed 5-kilometer run or walk held in Altoona, Wisconsin on February 13, 2027. The course covers 3.1 miles and includes food stops with a Holy Donut donut available at every mile and another at the finish.
Race registration includes a donut-themed finisher medal and a choice of a pink or navy xox-EAU water bottle. The event is part of the Eau Claire Marathon 5K Race Series; participating in or volunteering at all four series events can earn the series chair.
The start and finish are located behind 44 North Gastropub in River Prairie Park at 1488 Front Porch Place, Altoona, WI 54720. A post-race party and course map are provided as part of race weekend materials.
Event policies note that the donuts are not gluten free and Holy Donuts uses peanut oil to fry items; those with severe peanut allergies should use discretion. Dogs are not allowed due to the donuts on course. Strollers are allowed; if a child in a stroller should receive race swag, donuts, or a medal, that child must be registered individually. A virtual participation option is available that includes the same finisher swag and medal. No refunds or deferrals are offered for the ECM 5K Race Series.
