xox-EAU 5K
The xox-EAU 5K is a community fun run held on Saturday, February 13, 2027, in River Prairie Park behind 44 North Gastropub (1488 Front Porch Place, Altoona, WI 54720). The event is organized as a noncompetitive 5K course that includes a donut stop at each mile supplied by Holy Donuts.
The race environment emphasizes a relaxed, social experience rather than official timing; no official finish times are recorded, though participants may use personal devices to track their runs. Race week packet pick up is scheduled at the ECM storage unit (323 N Dewey Street, Eau Claire) with additional packet pick up on race morning at 44 North Gastropub from 7:45 AM to 8:45 AM. Race day registration is available if space allows.
Food and allergy notes: the donuts are not gluten free. The donuts are fried in peanut oil; while the donuts do not contain nuts, those with severe peanut allergies are advised to use discretion. Because of the food on course, dogs are not allowed. Strollers are permitted; children riding in strollers must be registered individually to receive race swag, donuts, or a medal.
