Gourdy's Pumpkin Run: Cincinnati is a city 5K taking place on October 31, 2026. The course is held at Sawyer Point Park & Yeatman's Cove in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. The event is open to all ages and to runners and walkers. The race has been held since 2012 and supports the charity Girls on the Run.

Registration and included items

Registration includes entry to the 5K (3.1 miles), a 2026 lightweight tech hoodie, a 2026 finisher's medal, a commemorative race bib with chip timing, a cup of apple cider at the finish, and a small pumpkin to take home.

Teams, options, and volunteering

Teams can be created by the first person who signs up; team members save $5 on registration. The optional Tough Pumpkin add-on lets participants carry a supplied pumpkin during the 5K; pumpkins at packet pick-up range from a couple of pounds up to ten pounds, and Tough Pumpkin finishers receive an additional medal. Volunteer shifts are available; volunteers may choose a free race registration or a donation to Girls on the Run, and receive an exclusive volunteer shirt, a beanie, and light snacks.
