Event overview
The Camel Color 5K is the 10th annual event held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Campbell County High School in Alexandria, KY (909 Camel Crossing; GPS: 38.918646, -84.394477). The event includes a color run format where purple and gold color will be thrown at participants. Proceeds benefit the Campbell County High School music programs.

Logistics and entries
The course starts and finishes at Campbell County High School, routes out to Old US 27, and loops back to the school. Age divisions are: 13 and under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-49, and 50 and older. Awards will be given to the top three overall males and females and the top three in each age division. A Sleep-In option is offered for participants who do not attend the live event; Sleep-In registrants may have the option to purchase the official race t-shirt.
Entry fees vary by date: early bird, a March 16 price increase, and race-day rates are listed for adults and children 12 and under. Optional race shirts incur an additional fee, with a size-related surcharge and an April 1 deadline to help ensure available sizes. Early packet pick-up is scheduled at the high school on Thursday, April 23, 2026; on-site check-in is available at the venue on race day. Team discounts apply when a team reaches five members.
