Pulze Festival, Enniscorthy (July 11 and 12, 2026)
The Pulze Festival is a two-day community event in Enniscorthy focused on movement, music, food, and mental well-being. The programme includes road running events, live street music across streets and squares, a family fun zone, and a street food trail along the promenade to Market Square and riverside food stalls by the Slaney.
Racing and running activity includes:
- 10K competitive race
- 5K fun run
Across the town, the festival sets out multiple zones for activities, performances, artisan and craft stalls, and children’s entertainment. Street musicians and regional performers are scheduled at various locations, with a portion of performance slots reserved for local artists.
The festival includes a River Slaney Lantern Memorial Parade each evening, presenting a moment of reflection and remembrance as lanterns travel down the river through the town centre. Volunteer roles support race operations, stewarding, event setup, information stands, family zones, and community engagement.
The Verida Project is associated with the festival as a not-for-profit initiative focused on mental health research and outreach. Its work spans early-onset depression, anxiety, suicide risk, and practical programmes using arts, sports, outdoor activity, and cultural events to support young people and adults.
