Pulse Endurance Runs : Eagle Island State Park, Idaho
Pulse Endurance Runs is a timed ultrarunning event held at Eagle Island State Park in Eagle, Idaho. The course is a flat dirt loop of about 2.5 miles that runs along the Boise River and borders Eagle Island pond. Organizers describe a mix of terrains on the loop to vary each lap.
Race formats include both fixed-time events and a fixed-distance option. Relay teams may include up to five runners. Timing for relay exchanges occurs inside the designated transition area at the start and finish. Pacers are permitted for individual timed events once a runner has completed half of their race; pacers are not allowed in the relay.
Support and logistics: an official aid station is available every 2.5 miles at the lap finish. Crew and personal aid are allowed at a designated area adjacent to the start and finish. Parking is available adjacent to the course, with a designated area for campers and RVs and special permission for overnight camping. A warming tent is provided; organizers request advance notice to ensure space. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at a local running store and at the park under the shelter.
