Event Overview
The Pulse Endurance Runs are a fixed-time running event held at Eagle Island State Park, located 8 miles west of Boise, Idaho. The event offers a flat, 2.5-mile dirt trail loop that borders the Boise River and Eagle Island pond.
Distances and Formats
Participants can choose from several timed or fixed-distance options:
- 48 Hour
- 24 Hour
- 12 Hour Night
- 12 Hour Day
- 6 Hour Night
- 6 Hour Day
- 100 Mile (fixed-distance)
- 100 Mile Relay (teams of up to 5 runners)
Course and Logistics
The course is a flat dirt trail. Runners may have crew support every lap in a designated area at the Start/Finish. Parking is available adjacent to the course, with a separate area for campers and RVs. An official aid station is available at the end of each 2.5-mile lap. Pacers are allowed after the halfway point of a runner's event, but not in the Relay. A warming tent is available for resting.
Additional Information
Local runners are required to furnish one volunteer for a minimum 4-hour shift; this requirement is waived for participants from out of state. Registration closes on a specified date in March, and registrations are non-refundable. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
