Pulse Endurance Runs : March 19-21, 2026

The Pulse Endurance Runs take place at Eagle Island State Park in Eagle, Idaho (4000 W. Hatchery Rd.). The event offers timed race options and a fixed-distance option: 48-hour, 24-hour, 12-hour, 6-hour, a 100-mile distance, and a 100-mile relay for teams of up to five runners. Registration closes March 11. All entries are non-refundable.

Course, support and rules

The course is a flat dirt loop of about 2.5 miles that borders the Boise River and Eagle Island pond. An official aid station is positioned every 2.5 miles as runners complete each lap. Crews may support runners every lap from a designated area at the start/finish. Parking is available adjacent to the course; campers and RVs must use a designated area. A park entry fee of $7 per car applies unless the vehicle has an Idaho State Parks Passport.

Packet pickup is available the day before at Shu's Running Company and at the park under the shelter. Each local runner must provide one volunteer for a minimum four-hour shift; this requirement is waived for out-of-state runners. Pacers are permitted once a runner is halfway through their race; pacers are not allowed in the relay. Overall top three finishers in each race will receive awards.
