Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic 2027
The Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic is a three day race weekend in Tampa, Florida, centered around 333 South Franklin Street and Bayshore Boulevard. The event includes a Health & Fitness Expo, a dog walk, multiple races, and several multi event challenges. The weekend is scheduled for February 19 to February 21, 2027.

Races use a flat out and back waterfront course along Bayshore Boulevard with views of the Hillsborough River. A post race celebration along the Hillsborough River offers live music, an awards presentation, and one complimentary Michelob Ultra beer for registered participants age 21 or older.
The Gasparilla Distance Classic Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports youth charitable organizations and youth running and high school programs. The association reports more than $6.9 million donated to local youth programs and partner organizations. The event also lists active fundraising organizations and a current raised total of $4,046.53.
Typical race registration packages include a gender specific race shirt, timed bib number, reusable shopping bag, virtual finisher’s certificate, finisher’s towel, and finisher’s medal.
