Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic (2027)
The Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic is a three-day race weekend in Tampa, Florida held February 19–21, 2027. The event features a Health & Fitness Expo, a dog walk, multiple races, and multi event challenges. Races use a flat, out and back waterfront course along Bayshore Blvd and a post race celebration is held along the Hillsborough River with live music and an awards presentation. Registered participants 21 years or older receive one complimentary Michelob Ultra at the post race celebration.

The event also offers several combined event challenges, including the Michelob Ultra Challenge (15K and 5K on Saturday plus Half Marathon and 8K on Sunday), the Michelob Ultra Pure Gold Challenge (15K and Half Marathon), the Michelob Ultra Infusions Challenge (15K and 8K), and the Michelob Ultra Zero Challenge (5K and 8K).
Most race registration fees include a gender specific race shirt, timed bib number, reusable shopping bag, virtual finisher’s certificate, finisher’s towel, and finisher’s medal. The Gasparilla Distance Classic Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; the 49-year-old race weekend has donated over $6.9 million to youth and running related programs and to organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, and Friends of Tampa Recreation.
