Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic : February 19–21, 2027, Tampa, FL
The Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic is a three-day race weekend held in Tampa, Florida, with event activity centered at 333 South Franklin Street. The weekend features a Health & Fitness Expo, a Dog Walk, multiple races, and several multi-event challenge options.

The main running course is a flat, out-and-back waterfront route along Bayshore Boulevard. A post-race Q-105 celebration along the Hillsborough River includes live music, an awards presentation, and one complimentary Michelob Ultra beer for registered participants aged 21 or older.
The Gasparilla Distance Classic Association operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and directs proceeds to youth charitable organizations and running-related and high school programs. Over the event's history the association has donated more than $6.9 million to organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, and the Friends of Tampa Recreation. The event’s fundraising listings show multiple beneficiary organizations and a current raised amount of $4,356.67.
Registration items listed for most race entries include a gender-specific race shirt, timed bib, reusable shopping bag, virtual finisher’s certificate, finisher’s towel, and finisher’s medal. Some multi-event challenge entries are marked sold out. The Dog Walk price includes one human and one dog; an additional dog costs $15 and no more than two dogs are allowed per human.
