Prowl the Peak Twilight 5K Run & 3K Walk
Prowl the Peak is a twilight running and walking event on the ski trails at Lapham Peak State Park to benefit the Peak Nordic Ski Club youth cross country ski program. Start and finish are at the Evergreen trailhead. Park sticker or payment of the daily entrance fee is required to enter the park. The course is run under lights on the ski trails. There are no aid stations or water on the course; refreshments will be provided at the finish.
Registration opens May 30, 2026 and closes July 24, 2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $30.00 for the 5K run and $20.00 for the 3K walk.

Timing, official results, and awards are provided for the 5K run only. Awards include overall top male and female and top three male and female in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Participants receive a tubular bandana as a memento of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
