Chilly Willy Winter Run Series : 2026–27
The Chilly Willy Winter Run Series is a seven-event winter series presented by Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC. The series runs from November 7, 2026 to March 20, 2027 and is based in Oconomowoc, WI (1327 Wall Street). Events take place across Wisconsin at several venues.
The series includes multiple race formats and distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half marathon (two events in the series)
- Walk division
- Ruck 5K
- Kids 1K at all races (no fee)
Rucking is new for 2026–27; the ruck events are timed but do not have age group awards. All finishers receive a wooden finisher award called a Woodle; the Woodles are made from reclaimed wood and include a magnet. Awards are presented to overall, age group, and team series champions, with overall and age group awards distributed at a post-series wrap up event.
Series scoring requires participation in four of the seven races to be eligible for 5K or 10K series awards. A point system determines series standings; division winners receive bonus points and ties are broken by age with the oldest runner winning. Participants may switch between distances but must complete four races in the same division for final awards.
The series offers an All Access Pass option that provides a reusable ankle strap for timing and waives packet check-in when chosen instead of a shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
