Whitewalker Ultra 100k
The Whitewalker Ultra 100k takes place January 16–17, 2027 at the Emma Carlin Trailhead, County HWY Z, Palmyra, Wisconsin 53156, USA. The event offers two distance options.
- 100K - two 50k loops starting and finishing at Emma Carlin Trailhead.
- 50K - single 50k loop on the Whitewater section.
The 100K course is two 50k loops. Loop one follows the Ice Age Trail west to the Whitewater turnaround and back. Loop two follows the Scuppernong Trails and back. The 50K option covers the Whitewater loop.
Registration opens October 5, 2026. Registration for the 100K closes January 16, 2027 with a fee of $150. Registration for the 50K closes January 15, 2027 with a fee of $75. The 100K has a 24 hour time limit to complete both loops.
Outside support is not allowed; only aid stations are permitted and crews are not allowed. Spectators are welcome. Required safety gear includes an emergency blanket, a first aid kit, a fire starter or lighter, a flashlight or headlamp, and an attached light that must be visible at all times. Runners should yield on mostly single-track sections to faster or oncoming runners and follow leave no trace principles.
Aid stations are at HWY 12 (14.1 mi and 22.3 mi), Whitewater turnaround (18.2 mi), Emma Carlin (36.4 mi and 64 mi), HWY 67 (45.1 mi and 54.8 mi), and Scuppernong turnaround (47.7 mi and 53.1 mi). A military discount code is available. Organizers plan hooded sweatshirts for 100K participants and may add a scarf or beanie. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
