Providence Monster Dash 5K - Providence, RI
The Providence Monster Dash 5K takes place on October 25, 2026 in downtown Providence at 250 South Water Street. The event program includes in person and virtual options and a separate kids dash for children.

- Monster Dash 5K - 3.1 miles
- VIRTUAL Monster Dash 5K Run/Walk - 5K virtual run or walk
- Kids Monster Dash - approximately 1/4 mile, ages 12 and under
The kids dash is open to children 12 and under; parents may run with their children. The girls kids race is held first, followed by the boys race.
The 5K run/walk welcomes walkers. Pets are not allowed and strollers must start at the back for safety reasons.
A costume contest offers $100 for the best individual costume and $200 for the best team costume; team entries must include at least three people.
Entry fees for the 5K and kids dash increase in stages before the event. Online registration closes on October 24, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. Walk up registration is accepted with higher fees and race t-shirts are not guaranteed for walk up registrants. Refunds are not offered.
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled at Marathon Sports, Level 1, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI on October 17, October 23 and October 24, 2026 during posted hours.
Awards include top three overall, age group winners across multiple brackets, top three boys and girls in the kids race, and a top overall team award. Overall awards use gun time and age groups use chip time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
