Providence Monster Dash 5K
The Providence Monster Dash is a Halloween-themed running event held in Downtown Providence, Rhode Island on October 25, 2026. The program includes a community 5K run/walk, a children's dash for participants age 12 and under, and a virtual 3.1 mile option. Parents may run with children in the kids dash.

Packet pickup is staged at Marathon Sports, Level 1, 1 Providence Place on dates in October 2026 prior to race day; there is also packet pickup on race day at South Water Street in Providence. Online registration deadlines and walk up registration windows are published; walk up registrations may be accepted on race weekend but event shirts are not guaranteed for walk ups.
Entry fees vary by date for both the 5K and the kids dash, with stepped pricing through July, August-September, October, and race day walk up rates. The event includes a costume contest with cash prizes for best individual and best team costumes; team entries require a minimum of three people.
Awards include top three overall, age group winners, top three in the kids race, and a team award. Overall results are scored on gun time and age groups on chip time.
