Project Triathlon // LMS
Project Triathlon // LMS is an elimination-format triathlon held in Springfield, MO (65804). The event uses an hourly loop format that repeats until only one athlete remains.
Each loop requires completion of the following segments within one hour:
- 100 m swim
- 5 mi bike
- 1.25 mi run
A start signal sounds at the top of each hour and there is a hard cutoff at 59 minutes and 59 seconds. Any time remaining in the hour becomes the athlete's rest before the next loop. Athletes must be in the start corral every hour on the hour and must finish each loop in under 60 minutes to continue. The last athlete remaining must complete one final solo loop to be declared the champion.
Registration opens October 19, 2026 and closes January 1, 2027. The listed registration fee is $80.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
