Project SC - One Mile Challenge - Taylors
The event is a one mile running race held on July 31 2026 at the track at Eastside High, 1300 Brushy Creek Rd, Taylors SC 29687. Runners are organized into heats based on projected finishing times. The top competitors race in an Elite Heat where leading athletes compete head to head.
Proceeds from the event, plus merchandise sales and donations, are directed to support youth running and local high school track and cross country teams. Registration opens May 1 2026 and closes July 29 2026. The registration fee is $10.00.
Awards and event services are part of the program. Winners from each heat receive gift cards to a local running store and additional prizes. Food trucks will be on site and a DJ will provide live music. Professional photography and videography will be available after the event. Giveaways and event swag are also included in the schedule.
