Princeton Trinity Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk
The Princeton Trinity Turkey Trot is a 5K run/walk held on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026. This is the 19th annual edition and it takes place at Trinity Church, 33 Mercer Street, Princeton, NJ. The course starts and finishes at the church and winds through downtown Princeton, passing Albert Einstein’s house, Princeton University, the Institute for Advanced Study, and other historic locations.
Online registration is available; registration fees are non-refundable and not transferable. Registered participants who sign up at least three weeks before the event receive a personalized bib. Participant shirts are included with registration and are available to the first 1500 runners who pick up their bibs; size exchanges are not available.
Bib pickup is handled through a drive-thru at Trinity Circle on multiple days before the event and on race morning. The event offers awards for the top three men and women overall and top three men and women in age groups including 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, continuing by decade through 70 and older. Live results and same-day finish line photos are provided.
The event coordinates a non-perishable food drive for a local food pantry with a drop-off van near registration. Allowed on course: running strollers. Not allowed: dogs, skates, skateboards, bicycles, and scooters. Volunteer opportunities are available for race planning and race day support.
