Princeton Trinity Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk
The Princeton Trinity Turkey Trot is the 19th annual 5K run and walk held on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, at Trinity Church, 33 Mercer Street, Princeton, NJ. The event is organized as a community 5K run/walk with online registration and listed fees that include processing charges; example listed amounts include an early bird rate of $38.98 and a later rate of $49.33.
The course starts and finishes at Trinity Church and runs through downtown Princeton, passing Princeton University, the Institute for Advanced Study, a house associated with Albert Einstein, and other local landmarks. Participant amenities include T-shirts for the first 1,500 runners who pick up their bibs; size exchanges are not available. Bib pickup is offered as a drive through at Trinity Circle on the days before the race and there is also race day pickup.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to the top three in age groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The event hosts a non-perishable food drive for the Arm in Arm food pantry with drop-off during packet pick-up and race morning. Trinity Church parking is closed on race morning. Running strollers are allowed; dogs, skates, skateboards, bicycles, and scooters are not allowed. Volunteer roles are listed for planning, race day support, and race week tasks.
